There seems to be some confusion on the net... Rick Joyner is encouraging people to support the recently "relocated" Fresh Fires Ministry... it seems Todd Bentley, now divorced and married to the lady with whom he was having an affair, is back up and running... yet Fresh Fires say...
Todd Bentley has resigned from his involvement with Fresh Fire Ministries Canada and will continue a process of restoration under the capable leadership of Rick Joyner and his association. Because Todd founded Fresh Fire Ministries, we feel it appropriate and honorable to give FFM's name to him to use as he chooses when he starts ministering again in the future. We here at FFM are in the process of changing our name to reflect our present and future focus as we continue with the God-given mandate for this ministry. So the question is, which is it? A new Fresh Fires Bentley has just started (with the name the old Fresh Fires have relinquished) or the old one which has moved and "recently relocated from Abbotsford, BC Canada and is now based at the Heritage International Ministries in Fort Mill, SC" ... one way or the other if Joyner wants to encourage people to give money he ought to be more clear... especially as accountability is one of the lessons they claim to have learned from the Lakeland "situation"! My advice? If you are tempted to give, before you do check out where your money is going... to Bentley himself or to Fresh Fires with their projects in Ugandan etc.
