i think it is pretty much that.. trying to notch up some google points.. but i think google catches onto that kinda thing quite quickly..
In terms of subverting it it , i guess interacting with good engagements and "donating" links to what we consider worthwhile is about the best thing to do..

Agreed, the strategies are used to game the search engines. And I agree with your conclusion that they are not blogs but come close to hate speech in a lot of ways--certainly lots of their words are unethical. I made the mistake of linking once to one of their sites as an example of nuttiness and felt guilty that I had given them an audience.
