AFC Telford United leapt the first hurdle of a two match championship winning race this week... Last night 1000 Bucks fans, me included (average gates at this level are around 300, though when Telford travel we normally out number the home support!) travelled to Witton for the first of the last two games of the season... Witton Albion were top of the league, we were third... we won! Now on Saturday we play Burscough, who are currently second in a winner takes all clash... the loser ends up in the playoffs, and if we draw, Witton will take the top spot (if they manage to beat Frickley - which on paper, they should)... convoluted I know... think how we feel! (pic from the Shropshire Star) its amazing how the title has come down to a three way, last game of the season situation! Very very tense!
