Allelon - Resources for the Missional Church

The word allelon is from the Greek and is a reciprocal pronoun that translates the English "one another", "each other". The word allelon is a common but overlooked New Testament word that is reciprocal in nature. Christian faith is not an individual matter. Everything in the life of the church is done "allelon" for the sake of the world. The Christian community is defined by the allelon sayings in scripture.

Allelon (a movement of missional leaders) along with Alan Roxburgh have available some great resources including a pdf entitled "What is Missional Church: An Introduction to the Missional Church Conversation -One Man's Journey Into Mission" by Alan Roxburgh along with an introductory workshop on the same theme, described as...

being developed so that local pastors and denominational leaders can introduce churches and judicatories to the concept of the missional church. The purpose of this training is to provide a setting whereby individuals can process what it means to begin the missional journey as a church. This is a question that is crucial to helping people enter into what God is doing at this point in our culture.

There are also some interesting "netcasts" from Roxburgh, Brian McLaren and Dallas Willard and some excellent articles (although the first one on the list is by some strange lofty, thin, New Zealander who I've heard is rather dubious ;-) so be careful! )
