The Diocese is hosting a marquee at the 'V' (Virgin) Music Festival near Telford this weekend... I'm going to help out. The idea is to give out water (over 2000 cups last year), offer 'Chill out' space, a number of Spiritual activities (spaces/meditations/reflections etc.) and simply to listen/chat to Festival goers... there will also be a Communion Service on Sunday (my publicity/graphics below). Should be great fun and I may even get chance to catch some of the Bands!

My son Ben is at V. Told him to say 'Hi' if he sees your tent.
Bought Nitin Sawhney's 'Philtre' today. Thanks for the advice. S'cool

How was it?

It was fantastic mate, apart from the weather... I will post more once we return from Greenbelt! Highlight music wise for me (and many others I chatted too) was without doubt Groove Armada... though Beck, Weller and the Go Team were not far behind... Hard Fi were pretty awful, Keane bored me to death... and Radiohead, well good light show, music just as you'd expect, no surprises. Not really my bag, so not overly impressed.
Will post more about the Tent and spiritual goings on when I have a bit more time!
