About 36 hours ago I put one of those NeoCOUNTER thingamajigs in the sidebar... Saturday and Sundays are always way below the average number of daily visits to Way Out West (around a third of the normal) even so there have been visitors from 37 separate countries! Some of the countries have astonished me... e.g. The Sudan, Colombia, Belarus, Pakistan, Iran, Costa Rica etc.
I'm not doing a 'trumpet blowing' thing here ;) Just amazed at how international the Blogosphere is... one of the questions asked at the CMS seminar I did last week was "Isn't the internet a Western phenomena?" , I have one of those clustermap widgets as well so I showed them that... but this really does illustrate the Global nature of the net and even the Blogosphere!
What I should have said earlier... is welcome to all our international friends! Please feel free to leave a comment and tell us who you are and where you are from! If you are involved/finding out about Emerging/Missional Church then it would be wonderful for us if you could tell us a bit about the situation in your country! It is easy for the Emerging Church 'Big 3' (US, UK, AUS/NZ) to ignore what is going on in the rest of the world.... please tell us your stories... we can only be richer for hearing them!
Cool Mark, in this global village are neighbour really is much closer than we think.
