Tommorow... I'm off to Northampton where Karen Ward, Ryan Bolger, Richard Sudworth, Kang-San Tan and I will be talking to CMS Directors and Managers on " Transforming Church - From 'Modal' to 'Sodal'" Which sounds highbrow (I guess it means something like "From 'techniques/models' to 'Relationships'")... but in reality will be a day of stories! Ryan will be talking about his and Eddie's research, Karen and I will be telling stories from Missional/Emerging Communities, Kang-San Tan will be looking at 'Missiological lessons from growing churches in the Non-Western world' and Rich will be looking at 'Emerging Church in a multi-faith, pluralistic society'... Then we will all be lightly grilled over an open mic.
Then I'm off, with Jonny, Ryan and Karen to High Leigh for a couple of days for the residential bit of the 'Emerging Churches Tour'.
Now I know there is a Wireless Network at High Leigh, but not sure about Northampton... so at least I will Blog later on this week... if we haven't all melted!
