You know how some days just have a surreal quality? Well today was one of those! Firstly I had to go to Casualty (ER for my American readers!) to have a large thorn removed from the nail bed of my right hand little finger! And It is now nearly half past midnight and I have just returned from the game (AFC Telford United vs North Ferriby - which kicked if at 3pm!) there was a reception for players/officials and Fans after the game which I attended... then I ended up going for several pints of beer (It would be unprofessional of me to say how many!) with a group from the Club one of who was the somewhat... erm... eccentric character that is Benny the Buck! BTW... AFC Telford Utd won 2:1 - extending the unbeaten run to 17 games - great end to the season!
