Then you will have a firmer knowledge base upon which to evaluate the book.

It is unlikely that Arun Ghandi, the grandson of Mahatma Ghandi would lend his name to a work which did not have considerable merit. In addition, many other highly respected names in the fields of science, spirituality and self growth e.g. Larry Dossey, Andrew Harvey, Thomas Moore etc. have given glowing reviews about this book.

Sankara Saranam has an extensive background in the field. He received his bachelor of arts degree in Religion from Columbia University, where he graduated magna cum laude, and his master’s degree in Eastern Texts from St. John’s College in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

An ascetic and mystic, Sankara was initiated in the advanced techniques of Kriya Yoga Pranayama as a monastic in the Self-Realization branch of the Swami Order founded by Paramahansa Yogananda. As you may be aware, Yogananda wrote the widely acclaimed Autobiography of a Yogi.

Although not a published author myself, I am university trained and a long time student of spiritual thought and practices. I fully embrace the universals that God Without Religion puts forth. I think that anyone on a path of spiritual inquiry would benefit from its knowledge. I think that the www.godwithoutreligion.com web site is very informative as well.
