I'm sure many of you will already be aware of the sad death of Rob Lacey - Author of The Street Bible/Word on the street - he was a fine actor and a creative force. Rob had been suffering from cancer... please take some time to pray for Sandra (Rob's wife), Lukas (5) and Magdalena (3 weeks).
[Tribute on the Zondervan Myspace blog]
GOD, my shepherd! I don't need a thing. You have bedded me down in lush meadows, you find me quiet pools to drink from. True to your word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction.Even when the way goes through Death Valley, I'm not afraid when you walk at my side. Your trusty shepherd's crook makes me feel secure.
You serve me a six-course dinner right in front of my enemies. You revive my drooping head; my cup brims with blessing.
Your beauty and love chase after me every day of my life. I'm back home in the house of GOD for the rest of my life.

This is sad news. I read the word on the street - it was down to earth and funny. He could not have been that old - a big loss.

Thanks for putting this up Mark - I didn't know - saw Rob a number of times in action and he was awesome - I have put your post on my blog as a prayer request for his family.
